Carbyn’s Cove Beach:

It is the best and the only beach in Port Blair. Good place to Hang out and could spend a quality of time watching the calm sea. Speed boats (Jet ski ride) drove tourists near to the Snake Island (Paradise for sea snakes).

Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex: Entertainment complex with Jet Ski Ride and Paddle boats are available for a joy trip.

Anthropological Museum: Exhibiting pre-historic inhabitants and cultures of the world in general and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in Particular.

Fisheries Museum: It houses endemic marine life of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Cellular Jail:

Construction of the Cellular Jail completed in 1906. It is famous for its solitary cells where prisoners could not communicate among themselves and architectural planning was such that, a Single person could control and guard all seven wings of jail from a single watch tower. This jail was famous for worst form of torture methods during imprisonment and several martyrs of Indian freedom struggle laid down their lives here. The only surviving eye witness to this entire saga, is a Tree near the entrance of the Cellular Jail.

Chidiya Tapu: It houses a small zoo and a number birds belong to various species and Munda Pahar beach (It is an excellent beach and it looks like a huge river). It is a Sunset point. Newly developed Trekking stretch of almost 3 km is now open to the guests.

Wandoor Beach: Wonderful beach with an open sea.

Jogger’s Park: Highest point in Port Blair gives catching view of an Airport on one side and the sea on the other.

Samudrika: Naval museum with a full of  Sea Shells and Marine creatures.

Science center: Worth visiting and is an excellent sunrise view point.

Chatham Saw Mill: Setup on a small island in the last quarter of 19 century A.D. It was one of the largest and oldest saw mill in Asia. Destroyed during the world war II, later revived it.

Mt. Harriet: Highest Peak of South Andaman. Place is home for different species of Snakes in general and King Cobra in particular. (Ideal place for Trekking– 2.5 km short and 16 km long trek are attracting trekkers from all over the world). View of the North Bay from Harriet has a special importance, permanently secured place on the twenty (20) rupees currency note.

Shopping — Government Shell Emporium Samudrika. (Shell and wood based artifacts provide an opportunity to fulfill one’s artistic heart)
