Dehradun robber's cave

Dehradun is the capital of the state of Uttarakhand. It is located in the Doon Valley, where it is keeps two important rivers of the North India, the Ganges and the Yamuna, on either side.

Robber’s Cave:Dehradun robber's cave2 It is also known as Guchhu Pani. It is located 8 km from the city and it includes one km trek.

Mindrolling Monastery: It is located in Clement area of the city. The Stupa was constructed and stands tall for World Peace. It is one of the world’s largest and famous for Buddhist art and architecture decorated with murals.

Tapkeshwar Temple: It is situated on the banks of small rivulet. The name Tapkeshwar is due to the fact as water droplets originating from a rock and fall on the Linga in the shrine.

Malsi Deer Park: It falls on the way to Mussoorie, at the foothills of the Shivalik range. It is good picnic spot in the city.

Other important places are Sahastradhara, Santala Devi Temple, Laxman Siddh Temple, Ram Rai Darbar, Clock Tower.

How to Reach Dehradun: It is well connected by Rail and Road network. Nearest Airport is Jolly Grant Airport situated 25 km away from Dehradun.
