Karwar is famous for its Tiny Islands, Beaches and of course Pilgrim centres. Karwar is located in the state of Karnataka, sandwiched between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea on its east and west respectively.

Devbagh Island: This is one of the few small islands, located about 3 km away. Fishing, Trekking and Snorkeling activities make the place perfect for relaxation. Other important beaches are Kodibagh, Kajubagh.

Venkataramana Math: Ochre paintings on the walls of 300 year old Math give the rich culture outlook of the region.

Around Karwar: Gokarna — Of course some legend is there to explain how the gokarna name became popular. Place is famous for beaches, Sanskrit scholars and traditional lifestyle. It is 60 km away from Karwar.

Magod falls: 180 m falls amidst beautiful surroundings ( Bedti River )

Yana is another place popular for Rock climbing.

How To Reach Karwar : Well connected by Rail, Road and Air. Nearest Airport is Dabolim, from here it is almost 90 km.
