Tirupati (city at the Foothills of Sheshachalam) is located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Tirumala, abode of the Lord Venkateswara (Balaji) is located, on the Sheshachalam hills, at about 3000 ft high. Tirumala attracts largest number of devotees. Idol of the Lord is 8 ft tall.
Pushkarini: It is adjacent to the temple. Swamy Pushkarini is the Pleasure tank of the Lord and is considered immensely sacred.
Srivaripadalu: These are at the top of the Narayanadri hill. According to mythology, Lord first set his feet here.
Sila Thoranam: It is a spectacular arch shaped oldest geographical formation with 25 feet in length and 10 feet in height.
Papavinashanam Waterfalls: Located 10 km north east of the temple. Ganga bhavani and Anjaneya temples are nearby.
Alamelumangapuram (Tiruchanoor): Located on the bank of Swarnamukhi river, at about 5 km from Tirupati. Temple is famous for, the consort of Lord Venkateswara, Sri Padmavathi Devi.
Srinivasa Mangapuram: Situated at about 12 km from Tirupati. Temple is famous for Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy. Ceremonial wedding conducted daily in the Nitya Kalyana Mandap. ( Lord had stayed here after wedding goddess Padmavathi as per puranas).
Sri Venkateswara National Park: Government declared it as biospere reserve, this includes Talakona waterfalls and others like Gundalakona. Deer park is located at Alipiri.
